Mini Siam This is
a miniature city where replicas of important historical sites in
Thailand are displayed, at scales varying from 1:1 to 1:25. Worthy
of mention among the replicas is the famous Bridge on the River
Kwai in Kanchanaburi province of Thailand. Apart from that, many
other world-renowned structures are also prominently displayed-example,
the Eiffel Tower of Paris among others. An additional attraction
is a mini go-kart circuit awaiting the speed enthusiasts. It is
located close to Pattaya on Sukhumvit Highway.
· Million Years Stone Park & Pattaya Crocodile Farm
Located some 9 kilometers from Pattaya Township, this attraction
comprises breeding pens with more than 1,000 crocodiles, a zoo,
and a bonsai garden decorated with rock formations. The Larn group of islands The Larn
Island is the biggest of a group of three islands, the other two
being Ko Krok and Ko Sak. Often known simply as Coral Island, it
is about 7.7 kilometers from Pattaya shore. A 45-miniute cruise
by a fishing boat or a 15-minutes ride on a speedboat is indeed
an unforgettable experience, and if you are lucky enough, a group
of dolphins might be seen jumping and diving joyfully along-side
the speed-boat. The island has four white-sand beaches, of which
perhaps the most popular is Tawan Beach in the northern part of
island. This beach has rows of eating stalls and souvenir shops.
Sightseeing-glass-bottom boats are readily available for coral viewing.
Sea sports activities similar to Pattaya are also on hand for sports-minded
tourists. World Gems Museum World
Gem Collection is a sizeable gem store with a museum under the same
roof. The museum showcases more than 838 pieces of precious stones
with multi-faceted descriptions including the acquisition of gemstones
from around the world. Pattya Bungee Jump One of
the most exciting activities available-and at 56 meter it is the
highest bungee jump in Thailand. In addition to the traditional
bungee jump there is also a catapult, which will rocket you 56 meters
into the air. To ensure your safety, all staff is fully trained
and under the direction of an experienced jumps master. Pattaya Park This park
has the highest tower in Pattaya a tower with a revolving restaurant
entertainment its clientele with a magnificent bird’s eye view of
the Resort City. The Sanctuary of Truth The Sanctuary
of Truth is claimed to be the world’s biggest wooden sanctuary.
The castle is a marvelous replica of oriental architecture that
conveys meaningful dharma through extensive sublime visual art on
every square meter of the teakwood sanctuary. Saithip Butterfly Garden It is
on16, 000 sq. m and breeds more than 30 species of butterflies.
It’s breeding center and museum showcases species from around the
world. Also it educates visitors about the development of a butterfly
lifecycle from the chrysalis to its short life span of only a few
weeks. Wat Yansangwararam This temple
under the king’s patronage is unique for its modern Thai architecture.
Here a meditation course is offered for laypeople at 06.00 and 18.00
hrs. Khao Khiew Open Zoo Khao Khiew
open zoo is one of the largest zoos in Asia. It is set in 1,200
acres of natural forest where divergent kinds of wild animal dwell.
Tourists can walk and have a close look at monkeys, elephants, dears,
birds, etc. Siracha Farm Located
some 8 kilometers from Siracha on the road to Siracha International
Golf Course is a mini-zoo with crocodiles, camels, tigers and many
birds. Tourists can feed a camel or have their photograph taken
with a tiger. Tiffany’s Show Tiffany’s
show was the first transvestite cabaret show in Thailand. It has
established its reputation more than 27 year ago. Currently, there
is a cast of almost 100 transvestite performers at this 1,000-seat
theatre with an upgraded world-class sound system. Its annual beauty
pageant tempts transvestites nation-wide to compete for crown. Romance of the Three Kingdoms The Romance
of The three Kingdoms is a theme garden featuring Chinese arts in
various forms including oil paintings on canvas, a huge marble shrine
of Chinese gods and goddesses, as well as elegant Chinese-style
tower. Proceeds go to the public through the Srifuengfung Foundation. Dog Show This center
has more than 250 breeds from around the world. The center allows
visitors to see a hospital, beauty salon and various performances
such as boxing and jumping through a fiery loop-all of which involve
man’s best friend, the dog. Pattay Element Village Pattay
Element Village is a venue for a fun-filled day with elephant shows
as well as a trek on elephants through nearby villages and farmland.
Situated on the Siam Country Club Golf Course road, the village
features trained elephants demonstrating time-honored forestry skills,
enjoying themselves playing football, re-enacting wild elephant
hunts and a medieval war elephant parade in a popular daily afternoon
show. Ripple’s Believe It Or Not Museum This museum,
only the second of its kind in Asia, features a high technology
theatre adapted from a pilot-training simulator, permanent and special
displays of oddities such as an animal freaks and unusual human
feats, based on the popular cartoon feature of the same name which
is featured in newspapers throughout the world. Bottle Art An instricate
miniature design of churches, temples, palaces and ship, both local
and foreign. These creations are contained in bottles of different
shapes and size. The world sole Bottle Art Museum has more than
300 displays of miniature bottles. Nong Nooch Orchid Wonderland Nong
Nooch Tropical Garden is regarded as one the biggest and most beautiful
gardens in Asia with two man-made lakes where pedal boats are available.

Watersports Windsurfing Jomtien
Beach is a windsurfer’sheaven where you can watch Thailand’s windsurf
team practice for the tournament season, or you can sign up for
lessons with a former champion. The Pattaya Windsurf Club on Jomtien
Beach regularly states board competitions. October through June
is the best months for windsurfing, thanks to ideal water and wind
conditions. Water Skiing The most
popular venues are the northern and southern parts of Pattaya Beach,
Jomtien Beach and Ko Lan Island. If water-skiing in Pattaya bay
is too much of a challenge, there’s a cable-ski on an inland lake
where children can safely handle the fun of skiing and parents can
breath easily. Scuba Learning
to scuba diving is a bargain. It’s also more comfortable in Pattaya’s
warm seas. There are as many as 20 professionally managed scuba
diving companies at the resort that employ PADI and NAUI certified
instructors.
